“ We had New Year's Eve dinner at Ginza Won on a whim. I did not know what to expect and to my surprise the food, service, and welcoming mom-pop atmosphere was great! Staff were so attentive and so helpful with recommendations - we had pork belly, short-rib, brisket, japchae noodles, and mango soju! I don't know how they can get negative reviews. Definite come-back for us! :) ”
“ A hidden gem. There's a parking area across the street...a bit pricey, down an alley way off Lewers. Came with a large party of 7 with reservations on a Sunday evening and it was packed...had to wait about 20 minutes. It's a small but comfortable place. Be aware you will have smoky clothes when you leave as you bbq everything at your table. Enough said...but a fun interactive dinner. The meats were plentiful for all 7 of us, just wished there were more veges. The banchan was unremarkable, with only three selections and a very simple lettuce salad. The best we could do was order the B course with several additional sides. It was plenty of food. Best tasting was the marinaded short ribs. If in the area, should check this out! ”
“ Best Korean BBQ I've ever had, I travel to the islands for work and it's the place I go almost every night for a good meal, great service and the best quality meats that are so tender and perfectly seasoned! Paul is fantastic and always attentive, kind and prompt. Love this place, can't say enough good things about the quality of food at Ginza Won. ”
“ Been coming here for years every time never disappointed. Both intimate for small parties and for larger groups as well. Call in advance for larger group prices are reasonable comparable to others but food much better and service much more intimate and friendly. Family owned for 27 years , been coming for the last 15yrs. Just down the alley can't miss it ! ”
“ We stumbled upon this place while heading to another Korean restaurant, but decided to stop here instead when we saw their street ad, saving us a longer walk. And I'm so glad we did! The service was unexpectedly attentive from every member of the staff. Our server, Kaito, was incredibly kind and sweet, enhancing our experience and encouraging us to try one of their set meals. At one point, another server noticed we were struggling to cut a piece of steak off the bone and immediately came over to assist us. They truly go above and beyond, paying close attention to every detail. The ambiance was also enhanced by the soothing jazz music playing in the background, which added a lovely touch to our dining experience. By the end of the meal, we were completely satisfied and full. In a funny twist, I mentioned to my partner that pineapple for dessert would be perfect, and, as if on cue, Kaito brought out chilled pineapple! It was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Thank you to Kaito and the entire staff! ”
“ Friday 6:30pm Party of 2 We were seated right away. Ordered bulgogi, rice, and salad. Everything was delicious. Diet coke and water to drink. Excellent service. ”
“ Other than the alley where it's located which wasn't bad it's just not easy to see when walking on the street the place was very nice looking inside. The staff was so attentive and efficient the entire time it was already a pleasure being here. The bbq was just too delicious. All the sides and everything was very tasty. We enjoyed the entire experience here. Honestly we were waiting across the street for the Japanese bbq and when we saw this place we got curious so went to check it out and the clients coming highly recommended it they were sooo right. We made the right move in coming here. ”
“ This is a small place, 8 or 9 tables. We arrived for an early dinner and were sat right away but by the time we were done all the tables were full and there were people waiting outside (Sunday night). They brought a lettuce "salad," which was surprisingly good and 3 sides, one of which is kimchi. Usually there is more banchan at a Korean place but I didn't really miss them. Our meal was DELICIOUS. We had the marinated short ribs (super yummy though a bit fatty), the plain soondubu (which does not have kimchi, btw) and the vegetable dolsot bibimbop (it's not vegetarian, fyi). They also brought lettuce and bean paste for the meat (OG lettuce wraps!). We also had 2 bottles of soju. We had a very enjoyable experience and service was also excellent. It's away from the Main Street and places, but not far. It's right next to a tiny karaoke bar. ”
